Our B&B is in Saint Julien de Civry - a small village in the middle of the Charolais/Brionnnais region in Eastern France. We are surrounded by the quiet, peaceful and hilly (or 'bocage') countryside that is typical of here. Charolais cattle are from this part of France and breeding them remains a cornerstone of the local economy. The larger town of Charolles is 15 mins away. Getting to La Clayette or Paray-le-Monial takes about 20 mins. Cluny, famous for its abbey, is a 45-minute drive, and you'll reach the Mâconnais or Beaujolais Vineyards after an hour.
